After doing some shopping Ms Cavanagh took a fall on some loose gravel and landed heavily, breaking a bone in her right hand.
Seeing that she was in pain, two people came forward to help her up and get her to the hospital.
"It was very nice of them to respond and I just want to thank them in person," she said.
