It was a good day with the Wildfires coming away with a win. Wildfires batted first and made 6/183.
Three batsmen, Stephen Walsh, Neville Castle and John Emms, all retired on 30 and Paul Curran made a handy 28 not out at the end of the innings.
Central Coast made a score of 6/142.
Best bowling figures were taken by Paul Curran with 2-11 and Dave Hicks 1-11.
All the other bowlers bowled fairly economically and the fielding by the Wildfires was excellent and saved a lot of runs.
The team was also happy to welcome back John Emms after an absence of four years.
Paul Curran was given a well-deserved Man of the Match.
