Lithgow Valley won the toss and sent La Salle into bat. They may have quickly regretted that decision, with father-son combination Peter and Eli Morris quickly setting the pace.
Peter was eventually bowled for 73, while Eli went on to make 120.
The team combined to bring in a total of 6/299 off 39 overs.
Lou Kappos led the Valley bowling attack, taking 3-44, with wickets going to Sonu Kumar (2) and Sam Johnston (1).
In reply, Valley's openers struggled to stay at the crease.
Enter Graeme Bell, who made an 89 run stand in the mid-order to try to keep his team in the game. His innings was a lone highlight for the team, however, which finished 9/166.
Hotel CC v Hampton
Hampton came out on top in their round 2 clash against Hotel CC.
After winning the toss, Hampton went in to bat, with Rob Arnott (58) and Jared Duff (52) leading the charge. Bradley Kay contributed a handy 25.
The team finished 8/182 after 38 overs.
In reply, Hotel CC was dismissed for 128 after 29 overs. Hampton bowler Greg Kitchener did most of the damage, taking 3-15, with wickets also going to Mick Byrne (2), Kay (2) and James Lesslie (1).
