Lithgow Valley Cricket Club v Hartley
Nicholas Gardner Miller set Lithgow Valley Cricket up for a solid innings.
The opening batsman made the most of Valley's decision to bat first, laying on 92 runs.
Mid-order teammates Chris Giugni (41) and Daniel Stern (38) helped the team to its total of 230.
Hartley bowlers Mitch Blanchard and Suresh Peesa did their best to slow the tally, each taking two wickets. Wickets also went to Shorne Holt and Josh Blanchard.
In reply, Hartley struggled to get going after losing opening batsman Darren Duncan for a duck.
Giugni had a great time with the ball for Valley, taking 3-16. Gardner Miller and Aron Crowder both claimed two scalps while Nic Kenniff finished with one.
Hotel Cricket Club v La Salle Hornets
La Salle Hornets took out their second round match against Hotel CC. No details were available at the time of publication.
Portland v Lidsdale
Lidsale mowed down Portland's innings total without losing a wicket on Saturday.
After winning the toss, Portland elected to bat and Sam Cameron made a determined effort to mount a good total for his team, but the opener kept losing his partners.
No other batsman managed to claw his way into double figures and when Cameron was bowled by Josh Howarth for 61, it was all over for the Portland team, which finished with an innings total of 110.
It was a team bowling effort from Lidsdale, with Howarth, young guns Dom Dellabosca and Ethan Achurch all taking two wickets each. Wickets also went to Chris Redding, Ben Achurch and Emmet Freeman.
Brayden McCann (43*) and Brendan Roach (65*) paired up to smash out the winning total of 0/114 in 21 overs.
The duck pond
A trio of Hartley's batsmen found themselves in the duck pond on Saturday. Darren Duncan was joined by Chris Keller and Ben Vale.
Portland's Brendon Miles found himself falling without score off the bowling of Lidsdale's Josh Howarth.
