In round three of the inaugural Hockey One Championship on October 12, Wilson scored all five of the team's goals and led the team to a 5-0 win over the Tassie Tigers.
In a post-match interview for NSW Pride, Wilson said the team had been working hard for their first win of the competition.
"Today was a really solid win and the girls would be really happy with that," she said.
Wilson said it was a top team performance, which rewarded them for using the outside rather than trying to force through the middle.
"I'm just the one who put them in the goal," she said.
"It's definitely a team effort to get the ball up there and without everyone else it wouldn't have been able to happen."

This weekend, another local hockey star, Lachie Sharp, will take to the park for NSW Pride as the teams host HC Melbourne.
Wilson hoped a good home crowd would turn out to the Lion's Den at Sydney Olympic Park this Sunday, October 20, for all the action.
