Lithgow City Council have announced that Short Street in Lithgow will be closed to traffic to carry out essential tree maintenance on Wednesday, October 9.
The project involves removal of all dead wood and the raising of select tree canopies to ensure safe access for larger vehicles and busses.
During this time, Short Street will be closed to traffic, and contractors will work with all affected residents who need to enter and exit the street during this time.
Council said the patience of affected residents is appreciated and advises that changed traffic conditions must be observed by all motorists travelling through the area.
