Firefighters from the NSW Rural Fire Service and Fire and Rescue NSW were called the the bushfire at Walang, east of Bathurst, at 8pm on Sunday.
The 13 hectare fire was then brought under control on Monday morning which has been listed as a total fire ban day due to warm and windy conditions.
Total fire ban conditions remain in place until 11.59pm on Monday.

A BUSHFIRE that ignited east of Bathurst on Sunday night is yet to be brought under control.
The blaze broke out off Walang Drive at Walang, 19 kilometres east of Bathurst, at 8pm with multiple firefighting units responding to the scene.
"The fire was clearly visible from Bathurst," Fire and Rescue NSW Bathurst crews said.

"Bathurst 216 [brigade] and Kelso 105 [brigade] were released from the incident around 10.30pm. The Rural Fire Service will be remaining on scene throughout the night and into tomorrow."
NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS) responded multiple brigades to the incident who also worked alongside Forestry Corporation of NSW crews.
The fire is 15 hectares in size.

At 7am on Monday the fire remained at advice level and was listed as 'being controlled' by the NSW RFS.
