In early September, the team at Family First Credit Union sponsored the very first Youth Forum in the region.
Bringing together year nine students from four schools across the region, the forum provided a space for young people to learn about mental health through guest speakers and a range of educational activities.

Guest speakers spoke about their personal experience with mental health and included:
- Nic Newling, outspoken mental health advocate
- Kaiden Powell, Wiradjuri man from Orange who started the 'Changing the Odds' organisation
- Nic Steepe, Project Manager at CSU and key figure in the country NSW LGBTIQA+ community
"We're so thankful to Family First Credit Union for providing us with this opportunity to reach young people across the region," Youth Care Coordinator Bonita Bassett said.
