Draw: October 1 all at The Workies Check Side versus Jiggers, Red Sox versus Helmets and Pockets versus Tall Timbers whilst Miscues have the bye.
All the teams that won at this point of the first round of the competition the results were reversed. Last time Check Side gave Pockets a comprehensive 6-1 flogging this time around Pockets returned serve winning 5-2.
Tall Timbers touched up Miscues last time they met and this time score line was the same but Miscues won 5-2.
Helmets and Jiggers always have close games with Jiggers winning the first bout 4-3 and this time Helmets scraped home 4-3.
Higgins Lawyers Pockets versus Check Side:
Shane Eagle versus Michel Wellings: Eagle was playing well and looked like he might come away with a win when Wellings went on a mini scoring spree to come home to win 58 - 47.
Chris Baker versus Denzel Nicholson: Baker eliminated the start by scoring a 21 break but that was certainly pushed to the background when Nicholson scored a massive 38 break to win by the same difference as their last game 78 - 61.
Lawrence Creasy versus Aaron Vandermeer: Vandermeer did well chasing the 25 start Creasy had but as he has done lately Creasy played solidly for another victory 64 - 55.
Robert Bender versus Logan Spice: Bender put in another good effort relying on luck mixed with good potting and Spice put in an improved effort but it was not enough as Bender took 'the Colonel' to the chicken farm 68 - 48.
Dane Barrington versus Mal Hewitt: Barrington played a very good game as things were going right and Hewitt though he played a few good shots was struggling as Barrington easily won 79 - 32.
Brad Preston versus Luke Morris: This was virtually a repeat of their last encounter as Preston out played Morris as he wiped the floor with him to win 77 - 36.
The players of the match were Lawrence Creasy and Denzel Nicholson.
Carpet One Tall Timbers versus Hunter Mining Methods Miscues:
Steve Hewitt versus Kevin Slaven: Slaven did put in a better effort than last time they played but the result was the same as Hewitt took control of the game and won easily 63 - 36.
Bill Cook versus Brian Nightingale: This was a very good game as both played well and it was close all the way until the end as the 'meerkat' Cook won 67 - 61.
Frank Wawn versus Matt Tattersall: Wawn was out of sorts though he did play some good shots it was Tattersall who controlled the game and with the help of a 15 break was all over Wawn like a wet blanket 74 - 33.
Maurie Smith versus Garry Bender: Smith looked the goods early in the game though it took a while for Bender to get going he went to another level as he left Smith in his wake to win 66 - 37.
Keith Morris versus Ritchie Bilby: Morris had his chance to win this game but it only takes one shot at times to win the game and Bilby did this to win 36 - 29.
Michael McCosker versus Allan Piggott: Once Piggott put together a 23 break there was no turning back and McCosker was shell shocked after that as Piggott cruised to a 76 - 32 win.

Welch's Highway Smash Repairs Jiggers versus Lithgow Valley Storage Helmets:
Wayne Lewis versus Robert Farnsworth: A very good open game of snooker with the result not known until the last couple of shots and this time Lewis reversed the result when he beat Farnsworth 44 - 35.
Leon Rust versus Chris Smart: Rust was doing well keeping up with Smart and once Smart scored a 14 break it broke Rust then Smart followed up with an 18 break and took the game 57 - 29.
Dylan Ford versus Ian Miles:. Miles was quickly into playing well and he eliminated the start Ford had with two breaks of 12 and 15 which was good enough for him to continue on his winning ways 72 - 61.
Kyle Lewis versus Brett Bradley: Lewis started out the game playing well and it took a while for 'botox' Bradley to get into his very slow groove but he did as he ground out a very good 85 - 56 win.
Greg Sutton versus Dillan McBey: McBey needed the last four balls to win when he sank the brown, blue and pink for a 15 break and played safe on the black and Sutton played the black it jawed in the pocket then rang along the cushion to fall in the opposite pocket for a very lucky 59 - 49 win.
Sharnie Roberts versus Dallas Thurlow: Roberts was scoring slowly and Thurlow did well to catch and over take her when Roberts suddenly hit form and came from behind to win 69 - 66 in a close game.
The players of the match were Dallas Thurlow and Wayne Lewis.
