The Fast Fox opened its doors on Thursday, September 19 and it's been nothing short of busy, according to business owners Kat Alexander, Holly Vatalis, Mislav Belobrajdic and Laura Vatalis.
"We've had such a good response from the community, it just didn't stop and most of it was local trade, people were just coming in to check it out," Holly said.
The new takeaway venue, formerly known as Charcoal Chicken, will act as a sister to the Blue Fox Bar and Kitchen, Kat said.
"We've got the Fast Fox which is a healthy takeaway venue and then the Blue Fox which is more of a dine in experience," she said.
She said the aim of the takeaway venue was not to be greasy but instead, a healthy alternative.
"We saw a need for it. It's healthy and a fresher produce and because we make everything in-house, none of it is commercial products, it makes a big difference," she said.
The Fast Fox offers a range of wraps, toasties, roast chickens, burgers, salads and homemade cakes as well as fresh cold pressed juices, smoothies and milkshakes.
"The only fried food in the place is the chips," Kat said.
She said once everyone found their feet there would be an opportunity to find out what their customers like.
"It's like everything until you get your systems in place and you see what people want and what people like that's when you change your menu.
"There will be something for everyone.

"We always work with seasons whether it's here or the Blue Fox," she said.
Kat said the juggling of two businesses would be hard but worth it in the long run.
"The Fast Fox has been in the making for a few months. The building has been ours since January and we used it to put our bins in and and we had an office in there.
"We just decided there was a need for something like this in Lithgow so we crazily took it on and started renovating it," she said.
"Once we get our systems in place and we've got enough staff on board it will flow because we've got two kitchens to operate out of."
She also said there was an opportunity to open up more jobs for the town.
"We've already employed another six and we will be employing more people coming into summer for both venues."
Kat's daughter Holly said the team was already sleep deprived but that was to be expected.
"It's been hard because it's so busy but I think we're doing really well and continue to do well," she said.
Currently the Fast Fox is open five days a week from Wednesday to Sunday from 10am-6pm.
"As soon as we get enough staff we're going to open seven days and the ultimate goal would be to open at 6.30am for the breakfast trade," Holly said.
