Zeljko Koracevic, 41, was pulled over at 9.10pm on July 7, 2019 at Blackheath. He has been placed on a 14 month intensive corrections order, been ordered to serve 120 hours community service and disqualified from driving for 12 months.
Costly swerve
Swerving to miss a wombat resulted in a Mount Victoria man being fined $600 and disqualified from driving for three months for driving with an illicit drug in his system.
Mitchell Thomas Mullins, 19, was driving on Wolgan Road, Lidsdale at 12.40am on November 9, 2018, when he swerved to miss a wombat and flipped the vehicle he was driving onto its roof after it collided with an embankment.
His passenger sustained minor injuries. He was taken to Lithgow Hospital for assessment and a blood test showed he had the drug ecstasy in his system. According to a police report presented to the court, he told officers he had taken the drug earlier in the week.
Stalking charge
Lithgow man Brett Norman Thorpe, 38, has been placed on a 20 month intensive corrections order for stalking and intimidation (domestic violence offence). The offences occurred in August 2018.
Drive suspended
Aoun Moutrage, 40, from Wallerawang has been ordered to serve out a five month intensive corrections order for driving while disqualified.
He was pulled over for a random breath test at Bowenfels on April 28.
Moutrage has been suspended for a further 12 months.
He was also fined $700 and banned from driving for six months for driving with an illicit drug in his system.
