Daniel John Rock, 31, pleaded guilty in Lithgow Local Court to the offences of being in possession of unlawfully obtained goods (copper and lead), as well as driving having never held a licence and possession of a prohibited drug.
The offences occurred on April 18 this year.
Rock was pulled over near the Wallerawang Power Station for speeding. Cannabis weighing 7.7 grams was found in his car, while lead and a length of copper wire were also discovered behind the driver's seat.
He was disqualified from driving for six months and fined a total of $1400.
The car was issued with three defect notices for missing tyre nuts, smooth tyres and a cracked windscreen. It was towed from the scene. He was also issued an infringement notice for speeding 45km/h over the limit.
Rock faced separate charges of unlawfully entry to enclosed lands and possessing the prohibited drug methamphetamine.
Rock was found by police inside Angus Place Colliery at 3am on April 28 in company with two other people. He was fined $400 for unlawfully entering and $600 for drug possession.
