The scores showed the golfers appreciation of the conditions with all the winning grade scores in the forties.
The best stableford score of the day came out of C grade with Riley Allan showing his potential with the big score of 43 points.
In golf, you play against yourself, the field and more importantly your playing partners and it was satisfying for Allan to edge out his mate Karl Wilson who finished runner-up to Allan with 38 points.
Riley also had the best scratch score with 89.
Max Nightingale was best in A grade with 42 points with last week's winner Justin McCann again in good form to finish runner-up on 40 points.
Best A grade scratch score went Andrew Burton on 71.In B grade, the winner was Greg Jackson on 41 points with Brad Gordon runner-up on 39 points.
Best scratch score was Don Wolfenden on 81.
Nearest the pins went to Rob Ritchie, Tony Oldfield, Rob Hawes, Carlos Garibotto and Nathan Harris.
Ball winners were Don Wolfenden, Rob Ritchie, Max McCann, Darren Hunter, Al Mostyn, John Bird, Gary Nightingale, Harry Bender, Andrew Burton, Dave Hicks, Tony Potts and Garry Marshall.
Balls cut out on 36 points on a countback.
Wednesday nine hole comp (11/9). Winner: Don Lovett 29 points. Runner-up: Paul Stewart 27 points.Third: John Griffiths 25 ocb.Fourth: Steven Jennings 25. Nearest the pin: Dave Thompson.Balls cut out on 20 ocb.
Friday nine hole comp (13/9). Winner: Brendan Swift 31 and runner up Jason Dunn 29. Nearest the pins: Dave Duroux and Trevor Cameron.
Next Saturday's event will be a two person aggregate stableford.
