Greg and Kyle Wilson from Jed's Tree Services have put a call out following a business break-in to their shed located on Bells Road industrial estate on the weekend of September 14 and 15.
The father and son team said they understood three other resident businesses were affected by the break-in.
From their own business a STIHL 660 chainsaw, STIHL MS193T chainsaw, STIHL 362 chainsaw and 56 brand new blower were stolen from padlocked tool boxes and a substantial amount of property was damaged.
Greg and Kyle are offering a cash reward for any information that may lead to the recovery of their equipment and have asked locals to share the word.
"We are counting on the strong sense of community that our town has to ensure that justice is served, and to prevent our neighbouring Lithgow businesses from suffering abhorrent acts like this."
Anyone with information is urged to contact Jed's Tree Services on 0414 263 596 or 0439 588 954 and contact Lithgow Police on 6352 8399.
