The Under 15's boys' squad has won through to the State finals after a nail-biting win against Farrer Memorial Agricultural High School, Tamworth.
The game was played at Lithgow on Wednesday afternoon, September 11.
"It was a good game against Farrer, some good basketball," coach Adam Marjoram said.
He said the boys dug deep and went well in getting stops on defence which led them to a 76-63 win over Tamworth.
"It was a tough, physical game," Marjoram said.
They will now progress to the NSW CHS Under 15's knockout carnival to be held in Terrigal on October 30 and 31.

"We've made it into the final eight, we hope to try and make the final four," Marjoram said.
He said his squad would be up against other big sporting schools and would start to train as a group.
"We've made it this far without training, so that's thanks to the talent in our team but we'll start training as a team now," he said.
Marjoram said he looked forward to coaching the kids and was confident heading into the carnival.
"They're a great bunch of kids, and are very talented for their age they're all part of our rep program here [at Lithgow Basketball] which helps too," he said.
