Titled 'Voice. Treaty. Truth.', the event will be held on Saturday. October 19 at the Cranbrook School Wolgan Valley Campus at 1860 Wolgan Valley Road (approximately 7km from the bottom of the Wolgan Valley Pass on the left hand side) from 10am.
The official opening ceremony will include a welcome to country by Sharon Riley and a smoking ceremony featuring Aunty Di, Uncle Ralph and the Yalmambirra Boogijoon Doolin dancers.
The day will feature stalls, historical displays and nature displays, including the Taronga Zoo Mobile, cultural displays and demonstrations, workshops, and live music featuring Uncle Col Hardy.
There will also be bush tucker tastings.
Lunch will take place at 12pm, with more live music and cultural demonstrations including roping, weaving and dance, with time to explore the new site and take in the breath-taking scenery of an aspect of the beautiful Wolgan Valley.
In the evening a bush dinner with live music, indigenous astronomy and camp fire yarning (if fire restrictions allow) will be held.
