Mr Toole said he has been overwhelmed by the response to the introduction of the second Bathurst Bullet service.
"A highlight is the fact that residents of Rydal and Tarana will now have two new options for rail travel to and from Sydney when the two stations become additional stops for the two Bathurst Bullet services," he said.
"Not only will Rydal and Tarana locals be able to get on board the Bathurst Bullet 2.0, the existing service will also stop at these stations.
Mr Toole said Opal card readers had also been installed at both stations for use on the Bathurst Bullet.
"It's all happening at Rydal and Tarana, with customers able to use Opal cards to travel on both Bathurst Bullet services," Mr Toole said.
"This will make it easier for customers to connect to other services across Sydney, the Blue Mountains, Central Coast, the Hunter and the Illawarra."
Customers can order an Opal card online at transportnsw.info, or opal.com.au for concession Opal and Gold Senior/Pensioner. Customers can also plan their trips by going to transportnsw.info.
