Also in second grade, Black took on a contesting Panorama White with both sides finishing fourth and fifth on the ladder.
Black unfortunately went down 4-0, finishing the game with only 10 men when Jon Cronin was in the wrong place at the wrong time to receive his second yellow card.
First grade is straight through to the grand final after winning their major semi against Abercrombie 2-1. Daniel Stern scored both goals for club.
It was a gutsy game with first grade finishing first and Abercrombie finishing second in a competitive season.
