As incredible as it seems to be talking snow and bushfires at the same time, more snow has been predicted for the region on Monday, September 9.
According to the forecasts from the Bureau of Meteorology's MetEye, Lithgow could be in in for some serious snow action between 7am and 10am on Monday.
This follows a predicted polar blast arriving in the region overnight on Friday, with falls expected in the Oberon region early on Saturday morning.
Saturday is expected to bring us a top of 8 degrees, with low temperatures to continue across the weekend and into next week.
That will be a significant change, after a top of 21 degrees on Friday.
