According to the forecasts from the Bureau of Meteorology's MetEye, Lithgow could be in in for some serious snow action between 7am and 10am on Monday.
This follows a predicted polar blast arriving in the region overnight on Friday, with falls expected in the Oberon region early on Saturday morning.
Saturday is expected to bring us a top of 8 degrees, with low temperatures to continue across the weekend and into next week.
That will be a significant change, after a top of 21 degrees on Friday.
