The steam train will pick travellers up from Lithgow at about 10am and take them to Capertee for a fun Sunday including markets and entertainment before the trip home again.
There will be a sausage sizzle at the hall run by the Ilford-Running Stream CWA, or a special lunch menu in offer at the local hotel dining room (bookings required).
Helicopter rides will be on offer from the rear of the hotel, as well as trike trips or visitors can bring along a picnic and enjoy the outdoors.
"This is the fifth train event we've held it's always a good, fun day out," Capertee and District Progress Association's Dott Pike said.
She said the funds raised would go towards restoring the hall roof and ceiling.
Bookings are required for the train trip as soon as possible. You can email caperteeprogress@gmail.com or call 0414 395 614.
