Police visited the 34-year-old's property on Saturday, August 17, in relation to an unrelated incident. Police allege a rifle was found unsecured at the home.
All of the man's weapons, including those that were securely kept and the rifle, were seized by police and his firearms licence was suspended. He will face Lithgow Local Court at a later date.
Spat on
A 20-year-old inmate at Lithgow Correctional Centre has been charged with assault after allegedly spitting on a guard.
The incident occurred at 9.30am on Sunday, August 18 and the matter will be heard in Lithgow Local Court at a later date.
Positive test
A 51-year-old Bathurst woman's licence was immediately suspended after she returned a positive breath test on the Great Western Highway at Lithgow at 8.50am on Saturday, August 17.
She was taken to Lithgow Police Station where she returned a low range reading. Her licence was suspended and she was issued with an infringement notice.
An 18-year-old Portland man's licence was also immediately suspended after he returned a mid-range blood alcohol level on Friday, August 16.
He was pulled over on Wolgan Road, Portland, at 11.30pm and was taken to Lithgow Police Station for a breath analysis. He will face Lithgow Local Court on September 10.
