Investigations are currently under way into a grass fire which occurred on Bells Line of Road on Wednesday afternoon, August 14.
RFS crews were alerted around 4pm. The fire, which burned a square area approximately 20 metres by 20 metres, was contained just after 5pm.
RFS spokesperson Greg Allan said there were no threats to properties and crews remained on site for most of Thursday to patrol the site.
"There are still some pockets of smoke and smoldering going on. Our advice to residents is to call triple zero if they see an unattended fire," he said.
The cause of the fire was unknown and would be investigated, Mr Allan said.
