The August meeting of the Lithgow VIEW Club was held at the Lithgow Workman's Club on Wednesday, August 14 with 73 members in attendance.

At this meeting Denise Fitzgerald was presented with her ten year pin and Nola Cummings with her 20 year pin.
Also at this meeting members were asked to vote on three resolutions. The results of this vote will be passed on to VIEW's national office, and then submitted to the government in order to bring about changes for the better.

Some members enjoyed a Christmas in July at The Chalet in Medlow Bath on July 23. It was a lovely lunch in very festive surroundings with live music to entertain them.
Raffles from Wednesdays meeting were won by Valma Edwards, Barbara Kuncio and Sandra Morris.
Members were also entertained by Glenda Phipps with an array of popular songs.
