The current board had a changeover, with new positions handed out, while others were voted in once again.
One member who can't wait to see what the next year holds is life member Doreen Mina, who has been a part of the group for over half of her life.
At 84, Doreen has seen and done a lot with the group, having received her 40 year badge a few years ago and is set to soon receive her 50 year badge.
"I have a life badge and not many people get those, and I got my 40 year badge and I'll be coming up to 50 years soon," she said.
"I will keep doing this for as long as I can."
Doreen has cut her time back, going from working in the canteen from three days a week back down to two.
"I joined the group, back when my first husband got injured at work and I was at the hospital a lot, because I was helping to feed him, and there were some lovely girls who said 'why don't you join and come have a coffee with us in the canteen' so I did and I've never looked back," she said.
Most of the girls that Doreen started with have left the group, but she said she would love to continue.
"I was the delegate from Lithgow and I've been voted in as delegate again so I travel to Sydney for conferences which I really enjoy," she said.
Doreen said that she was proud of everything they did in the group.
"It's a great team of people, especially at my age I just want to keep being a part of it for as long as I can," she said.
