Draw: 13/08 at Club Lithgow Jiggers versus Check Side and at The Workies Helmets versus Red Sox and Tall Timbers versus Pockets whilst Miscues have the bye.
Jiggers had a close call against a determined Helmets as they had to win their last game to scrape home 4 - 3.
New side Check Side is really the team to watch as they easily accounted for Pockets 6 - 1 and Check Side now lead the point score.
Tall Timbers have started the competition in a positive frame of mind as they easily beat Miscues 5 - 2.
Welch's Highway Smash Repairs Jiggers versus Lithgow Valley Storage Helmets:
Robert Farnsworth versus Wayne Lewis: Once they knuckled down it was good to watch and Farnsworth was just three in front with the last two balls left. Farnsworth potted the last two for a 13 break to win 47 - 30.
Dillan McBey versus Kyle Lewis: McBey scored an 18 break which he took the lead to win 71 - 59 then not a peep was heard out of him about the handicaps.
Brett Bradley versus Troy Clarke: Clarke fouled on the green then Bradley stepped up and potted the green to pink for an 18 break then he was three points behind. Then Clarke missed the black and Bradley did not as he potted it to win 61 - 57.
Dianne Stait versus Greg Sutton: Sutton scored a 15 break to move ahead and luckily maintained the lead to win 73 - 45.
Chris Smart versus Leon Rust: Rust scored two breaks of 16 and 13 which was enough to keep the lead 71 - 38.
Ian Miles versus Sharnie Roberts: Roberts won easily 71 - 48 and she played that well Miles was lining her up for a urine test.
The players of the match were Greg Sutton and Robert Farnsworth.
Check Side versus Higgins Lawyers Pockets:
Michael Wellings versus Shane Eagle: There was some very good safety and snookers played and Wellings put together a 22 break which was the difference as he went ahead to win 55 - 46.
Jack Bilby versus Lawrence Creasy: Not too much to write about only Bilby won on the back of mistakes by Creasy to win 100 - 50.
Mal Hewitt versus Dane Barrington: Hewitt took a while to catch Barrington but once he took the lead he was not going to be beaten as he won 75 - 57.
Denzel Nicholson versus Chris Baker: Nicholson had a 28 start and Baker scored a 22 break through the game which bought him close to the lead. Nicholson showed a lot of maturity to hold on from a fast finishing Baker to win 84 - 67 in a high quality game.
Logan Spice versus Kyal Furbank: A good game by both players but it was the consistent Spice who was the victor 66 - 47.
Luke Morris versus Brad Preston: Morris did play some good shots plus the factor going against him Preston fluked some shots. Preston in the end with the help of a 17 break won 81 - 33.

Hunter Mining Methods Miscues versus Carpet One Tall Timbers:
Jeff Martin versus Howie Fisher: The finish was very close as Fisher pulled out a very close win 51 - 47.
Paul Wilcox versus Maurie Smith: It was a very close game though and it wasn't until late in the game that Wilcox was able to win 57 - 52.
Garry Bender versus Keith Morris: Morris dominated Bender at the back end of the game to win 62 - 29.
Kevin Slaven versus Steve Hewitt: Hewitt did not take long to get into a rhythm and was potting freely and once he scored a 14 break was not headed as he won 85 - 25.
Matt Tattersall versus Frank Wawn: Wawn was attacking well when he had the chance and when he scored an 18 break it was the keep the lead to win 60 - 31.
Col Tattersall versus Bill Cook: Tattersall reversed his form from last week and played out of his skin as Cook was left to look on with awe. Cook did mount a comeback but Tattersall was too good and went on to win 81 - 46.
The players of the match were Frank Wawn and Col Tattersall.
