The Great Western Highway has been reopened between Lithgow and Bathurst, with drivers urged to drive slowly and carefully. Snow and ice remain on the road.

Lithgow City Council advises that Doctors Gap Road between Lithgow and Hartley, which was closed earlier in the day for fears of black ice, has now been opened.
The only road which remains closed is Sunny Corner Road.

The Jenolan Caves Road between Duckmaloi Road and Jenolan Caves remains shut. People driving in the Oberon Shire have been advised that some roads remain shut and are in the process of being inspected by council staff.
The highway is closed in both directions between Wallerawang-Rydal Road and Range Road. Motorists have been asked to delay their journeys and avoid the area this morning. The closure began just after 6am.
There are still warnings in place for alpine conditions between Marrangaroo and Raglan after the weekend's snowfall.
Ice and snow remain a hazard around the Oberon region.
