Lithgow park runners headed out of their homes for their weekly five kilometre run or walk at 8am on Saturday, August 10.
The keen snow enthusiasts were excited to get onto the track and make the most of the extreme weather.
Run director for the day Ross Yates came especially early to set up the event for those keen to run.
The runners and walkers got a beautiful view of the track with the middle field covered in a blanket of snow and with more snow picking up towards the end of the run.
According to a post on the Lithgow Parkrun Facebook page, the group had a lot of fun.
"A special thanks to all the volunteers who braved the cold today...also a big thanks to run director Ross who set up this snowy day just to make us all happy," it said.
