Lithgow Netball Association have held round 11 and 12 of their 2019 season, with some tough competition, it was a fierce round of games for all who took part.

Wang Littlies played Portland Pandas went head to head in a fun little game, as both teams didn't have enough to take the court. Congratulations to everyone who showed up for the game and a huge thank you to the local kids who filled in for both teams. It was amazing to see so much happiness from the children.
Workies Pearls played Portland Lollypops. Lollypops where short on players this week, Workies Pearls showed great sportsmanship by loaning them players to make the game even. Ruby Blackwell and Olivia Evans showed great ball skills. Lillian Turner moved the ball well in attack for Pearls and Alice Dregenberg was strong in defence.
Division 4
Portland Pocket Rockets had a convincing win over Portland Popstars 36-3. Briea Lampton defended well all game for Popstars and Jada Cadalt played an excellent game, stepping up a division to help the girls. The Rockets were on fire with Ashton Bullock shooting well in the goal circle and Macy Brown was instrumental in centre court.
There was no game between Workies Rubies and Wang Stars.
Division 3
Vixens were helped with there win over Wang Tigers 35-21,by the help of fill in players, Mia Dunleavy and Jamia Cadalt. Both girls played a half game each, with great intercepts and breaking skills in a hard fought out game.
Portland Hotshots were to strong for Workies Sparkles winning 30-7.
Wang Lightning won by forfeit to Workies Sapphires
Division 2
Lansdowne Lunachix were to strong for Vikings coming away with the win 42-34.
Amazons started slowly in their game against Workies Thunder, being at a disadvantage with six players. With the inclusion of Hallie Gillespie from a lower grade and Caitlin Young settling in to the shooting position with some amazing long shots, they managed to settle into the game. Good court coverage and excellent defence by Rebecca Doble ensured that Thunder had to play their hearts out to win 38-31. Shannon O'Regan and Callie Capamolla were strong in centre court for Thunder.
Wang Swifts played a scrappy game to come away with the win, against Workies Mustangs. Jenna Sheather's athletic ability in blocking passes and Micayla Lamb's intercepts were the turning point for the game.
Division 1
Wang Phoenix played Wang Hustlers in a physical encounter. Phoenix recruited Taylor Bennett from division 3, who was more than up to the challenge and played exceptionally. Imogen Sharp and Maicee Heterick also played well for Phoenix, who unfortunately lost in a close game 50-42.
Workies Firebirds put in a great team effort as some players had to play positions they haven't played for a long time. Shannon O'Regan backed up for a second game to help Firebirds win over Workies Dynamite 61-40.
ROUND 12
Netta
Wang Littlies played Workies Pearls and both teams were only able to field five players each. All players showed great enthusiasm playing full games, and sharing positions. Stand outs for Workies were Grace McAndrew and Charlotte Marjoram.
Portland Lollypops played Portland Pandas. Sarah Chamberlain had a great game in defence with a lot of intercepts for Lollypops and Gracie Walsh had a great day in shooting.
Division 4
Portland Pocket Rockets were too strong for Workies Rubies, winning 54-0. Mia Dunleavey was outstanding in the shooting circle. Serena McCann defended well and got some skilful intercepts.
Portland Popstars defeated Wang Stars 58-12.
Division 3
Vixens defeated Sparkles 59-13 and Wang Tigers defeated Wang Lightning 58-12.
Portland Hotshots who were only formed this year are improving every week, this showed in the shooting circle with Nikera Hann and Kara Handley having exceptional games to help their team defeat Workies Sapphires 38-21.
Division 2
Lansdowne Lunachix had a one point win over Workies Thunder with the defensive effort of mother and daughter Kellie and Molly Dregenberg helping Thunder to the narrow loss.
It was a friendly competitive game between Workies Mustangs and Wang Amazons with both teams vying for vital points.
Mustangs Dakota Morcom's accurate feeding into top shooter Emily Chatham allowed Mustangs to defeat Wang Amazons in a close game 39-36.
For Amazons, Mandy Spargo was instrumental in brilliant intercepts, while Claire Stuart's court coverage in the circle converted to goals.
Wang Swifts defeated Vikings 35-22.
Division 1
Workies Firebirds proved too strong for Wang Phoenix, winning 45-30, with Dannielle Reynolds giving her all for Firebirds.
Connie Edwards provided a strong defence and Charmaine Bradley was accurate with her goal feeds, which allowed Wang Hustlers to defeat Workies Dynamite 57-28.
