The Inner Wheel Club of Lithgow celebrated its 60th changeover luncheon on Monday, July 15 at Zig Zag Motel's Switchback restaurant.

Inner Wheel club Lithgow president Maureen Daskein welcomed guests to the event.
Official guests included Inner Wheel Australia (IWA) vice president Elizabeth Tooke, IWA head teller Elizabeth Russ and A50 district chairman Anne Holloway.
Members of Lithgow VIEW club and Quota were also in attendance as well as Lithgow's Inner Wheel members.
A new member, Christine Lewis was inducted to Lithgow's Inner Wheel club on the day.
"They're a really good group of women, they're supportive and I look forward to working with them," Ms Lewis said.
The club also fare-welled committee members Gail Coates and Kaye Preema who have decided to retire from their roles as office bearers and enjoy Inner Wheel in a different way.
Before officially retiring from the committee, Kaye unveiled a new banner for Inner Wheel, which she designed with the help of her son.
"We made the decision to get a new banner, our members put in and with the help of my son we got the proper logo. We only had 10 days to organise it but I'm glad it came in time for the changeover," she said.
President Maureen thanked Kaye for her service and continued to explain how successful Inner Wheel had been over the past year.

"It's been a very busy year, we have been on many adventures and we also celebrated our 60th birthday.
"That was the highlight for me, our 60th birthday celebrations on May 4," she said.
A50 district chairman Anne Holloway then proceeded with a toast to International Inner Wheel.
"I would like to pay tribute to 60 years of friendship in the community, Australia and internationally.
"Alone we achieve so little but together we achieve so much," she said.
After formalities a roast lunch and dessert was served, followed with the official announcement of Inner Wheel Lithgow's 2019/20 committee.
Maureen Dakein remains as president, Sandra Mayne is the vice president, secretary and publicity officer.
Dawn Bower is the treasurer with Vanessa Glendinning as the International service officer.
The historian and club correspondent is Janette Phillips. Marilyn Tulley is the social convenor and Patsy Mansell is in charge of the coin for cord.
Ms Dakein thanked her retiring committee for their successful year and said she looked forward to working with her new office bearers.
"I look forward to continuing my role as president again, I am hopeful for another fun, activity filled, successful year.
"Today's luncheon has also been a very good day, you can tell by the chatter that everyone has enjoyed themselves," she said.
With lucky door prizes to finish the event, guests mingled and enjoyed the celebration of friendship and a successful year of service.
