Draw: July 16 at Club Lithgow Jiggers versus Red Sox and at The Workies Tall Timbers versus Helmets and Check Side versus Miscues
The John Zorz Trophy starts tonight and the LASA welcome a new team to the competition called Check Side and they will be playing out of The Workies.
They consist of some players returning to snooker, two players from other teams have moved across and they also bring in a new player.
Team Pockets have nominated with just the bare six players and if anyone is interested in playing snooker please come to either The Workies or Club Lithgow we can put you in a team.
With the new team it makes for seven teams so now a bye has come into the draw which consists of two rounds before the semi-finals.
Pockets have been given the first game bye to help them get extra players and in the unfortunate event they cannot form a team the comp will revert to three rounds.
The $35 fees are to be paid no later than the October 1.
The LASA would like to welcome all the teams, players, sponsors, clubs and supporters back to the John Zorz Trophy and they wish for a successful competition but most of all enjoy the game.
