Lithgow inmate sentenced to jail for drug possession
Lithgow inmate Hassan Wraydah, 41, has been sentenced to five months in prison for possessing a prohibited drug.

The court heard Wraydah had a visitor at Lithgow Correctional Centre on November 3, 2018. Corrections officers reported they saw an object passed during the visit, which was immediately suspended.
The object was found to be a balloon containing 136 strips of buprenorphine. In Lithgow Local Court on June 13 he was sentenced to five months in prison, to be served from April 22 to September 21, 2019.
