The Bureau of Meteorology's snow prediction for Saturday in the Lithgow region has grown from a small chance to a greater one, with snow expected to fall above 700 metres.

According to the BOM MetEye, Lithgow could see snow in the CBD with falls to be at their greatest at 7am.
The bureau is also forecasting snow to start falling at 4am on the morning of July 13 at Jenolan Caves and Mount Canobolas in Orange.
Falls are predicted in and around Jenolan Caves, Shooters Hill and Black Springs, Oberon, Orange and Crookwell.
The majority of snow is forecast to fall in and around Orange and Blayney by 10am and set to ease up by 4pm.
Heading into the weekend a cloudy Friday will reach a high of 10 with the temperature expected to plummet to seven on Saturday.
It will be a frosty start to next week with a morning frost expected on Sunday with a low of -4 and a maximum of eight.
