Do you love the music of Queen? This is the show for you.
Lithgow Musical Society will be holding an information night for its November production of the Queen musical 'We Will Rock You' on Thursday, July 18 from 7.30pm.
Auditions will take place the following week on Monday, July 22 and Thursday, July 25 at 7.30pm with rehearsals getting underway the following Monday night.
With renovations continuing at the Union Theatre, all rehearsals and performances for 'We Will Rock You' will be at the St Patrick's School Hall.
Everyone is welcome to join the chorus without having to audition.
"For this show we need a wide range of cast members from teenagers and up. Due to the slightly more mature content of the show it is not really suitable for the younger primary school age children," the Lithgow Musical Society said in a statement.
'We Will Rock You' takes place in the far future when the world, now known as Planet Mall, which is run by the Global-Soft Corporation under the control of Killer Queen and her henchman, Kashogi.
Global-Soft decides what people buy, watch and listen to but some rebel against the corporation and look back to the old days of Rock and Roll music.
The show tells the story of how our heroes Galileo and Scaramouche break free from Global-Soft to join with the other bohemians in their search for freedom.
Check out the Lithgow Musical Society's Facebook page for all the details of characters and song auditions. Audition times will be allocated on the information night.
