Member for Bathurst Paul Toole announced the funds on Friday, July 5.
Wiradjuri Elder Aunty Helen Riley said the money would go towards Mingaan's culture initiatives, payments for entertainment and supplying food for the bush camp out at the annual NAIDOC day celebrations at Capertee.
"It's hard work, we are all volunteers that put it together so every cent we get counts and really helps us out.

Mr Toole said NAIDOC week was an important opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the importance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, language and history.
"Acknowledging and celebrating history and culture is at the cornerstone of NAIDOC week each year and it is celebrated at all levels across the community, I encourage everyone to get involved.
