La Salle Academy hosted students from St Patrick's Lithgow, St Joseph's Portland, Cooerwull Public School, Mt Victoria Public School, Megalong Public School, Meadow Flat Public School, Cullen Bullen Public School and Zig Zag Public School for session three of the transition program in 2019.

The students participated in a range of activities, from watching sheep being shorn, learning how to write their name in Japanese, as well as make a kimono robe model, playing a sumo wrestling game, and enjoying a practical lesson in science about chemical reactions.
A barbecue morning tea was prepared and cooked by some of La Salle's Year 12 students.
Wes Gibson, La Salle's special programs coordinator, said a big thank you to all staff and students involved at La Salle Academy over the three sessions.
"An extended thanks to the staff, students and families of all Year 6 students involved in the program over the last month. It was a delight to have you all here and we look forward to seeing your familiar and enthusiastic faces here at La Salle Academy in 2020," he said.
