Wang Littlies played Portland Lollipops. Grace Gatt had an awesome game for Littlies along with Emily Reeve who gave 110 per cent in centre court, before backing up for a second game in division 4. Lollipops Olivia Evans had a great day in shooting, moving the ball around the circle with help from Marlee Schumack.

Workies Pearls played Portland Pandas. For Pearls, Summer Gaudry's accuracy in shooting was fantastic leading to multiple goals, while Ruby Offner was great at moving the ball down the court in wing. Keeley Sheehan and Jada Cadalt both had an excellent game in the shooting circle.
Division 4
Portland Pocket Rockets had a convincing win over Wang Stars 51-1. Serena McCann had fantastic game in defence and Libby Bailey shot and fed outstanding, for Rockets.
Portland Popstars were too strong for Workies Rubies 17-3.
Division 3
Wang Lightning tried their hardest against the strong opposition of Vixens going down 60-14. Bridie Ward had her best game of the season in defence and Emily Commins played an excellent centre court game against a very challenging player, driving for every ball. Sophie Young did well playing out of position in the shooting circle and was backed up Gracie Northey who had a fast game in centre.
Portland Hotshots came up against a very strong Wang Tigers team and the score didn't reflect the game. It was a great team effort for Hotshots, helped out by Macy Brown for Division 4.
It was a Workies battle against Sparkles and Sapphires. With Sparkles putting up tough competition to come away with their first win, 26-24. Montana Morgan showed great improvement in GK, whilst Jessica Stephenson had great accuracy in the shooting circle.
Division 2
The young Swifts team played outstanding netball against a more experienced and older team, that went down to the final bell. Ending in a 29 all draw. The defensive unit of Shelby McManus and Mikaylah Rattenbury played outstanding netball to defend every ball, whilst a strong start in the goal circle for Thunders Kiara Zorz and Jordan Parsons gave the team a good start to the game.
Annette Lees superb breaking for centre pass and feeds into the circle, plus the anticipation and controlled defence enabled Amazons to have an enjoyable game against Lunachix. Lunachix came away with the win 42-19.
Vikings defeated Mustangs 63-40
Division 1
Wang Phoenix and Workies Dynamites game was a battle of the injured players with both teams having injuries in the first half. Due to injury the game was a bit of a one sided affair to Phoenix, winning 42-20. Phoenix's new combination on court worked well with Steph Bird and Maicee Heterick both playing well. Phoenix would also like to thank Kealey Gillespie for playing up.
Wang Hustlers had a win over Workies Firebirds 48-38. Firebirds Angela Green had an amazing defensive game and Kellie Rochester was strong in all mid court positions. Hustlers strong defensive play by Laura Nightingale kept the Firebirds from scoring, while Alison Kay played a strong role in centre for Hustlers.
We are now off for two weeks and will return on Saturday, July 20.
Our representative under 12,13 and 14 teams leave on Friday, July 5 to Penrith for three days at State Champs. We would like to wish the girls, their coaches and the support team the best of luck.
