The Lithgow Workies first division side's incredible run of good form continued on Sunday, when the team beat Bathurst St Pat's comprehensively at home.

Lithgow Workies was too strong for St Pat's, finishing 40-6 at full time at Tony Luchetti Oval.
It has been a dream season so far for Workies' captain coach Jimmy Reinhardt. The win over St Pat's took the Workies' unbeaten 2019 run to nine wins.
Reinhardt said the key to success was to just to "keep on turning up"
"We turned a lot of ball over, gifted them a lot of ball in our end, made it easy for them but we were able to just keep turning up and defending the line well and turning them away without conceding too many points," he said.
"That's where it was won for us; in our defence.
"We do a lot of good things but we also gift a lot of teams a lot of easy ball but we seem to be able to back it up with our defence so that's been our strength all season."
The experience of Brendan Van Veen was on show on Sunday, Reinhardt said.
"Most of the forward pack really stood up and did their work. Lleyton Lothian at the back was real good for us," he said.
"You can't really call anyone out on the defence. The whole team really dug in on defence and really put in a top effort."
Next week the team will take on Cowra.
"You never know what they're going to bring," Reinhardt said.
Bouts against Mudgee and the Hawks at the back end of the year would test the team.
"We'll need to really build strongly to roll into those games."
