A man remains in a critical condition following a serious motor vehicle collision near Rylstone on Monday afternoon.

According to a police media release, at about 5:45am yesterday, Monday 17 June, a Toyota Hilux was travelling north-east along the Bylong Valley Way near Rylstone, when it left the road and rolled a number of times before coming to rest off the eastern side of the road.
The driver, a 28-year-old man, was extricated from the vehicle by emergency services. He was flown to Westmead Hospital in a serious condition.
The 17-year-old male passenger sustained minor injuries and was transported to Orange Base Hospital for treatment.
Officers from Orana Mid-Western Police District attended and commenced an investigation.
