Over the past month they have been prominent in the winners list and returning some very good scores.
One such player is Lleyton Guest who played his inaugural competition match on Saturday and did not waste any time claiming a win when he returned the excellent score of 44 points to take out the single event that was held in conjunction with the day's two ball best ball competition.
This was good scoring as the greens were extremely fast and the holes placed in some very challenging positions.
Guest also figured in the two ball win when he teamed up with Brendan Lloyd with the two amassing the good score of 49 points.
Runners up were Justin McCann and Gary Keen who finished with 45 points counting out a couple of other teams for the voucher.
Best scratch scores in each grade (in A, B and C sequence) were: Steve Hall 71, Brian Bourke 82 and Dave Muir 96. Nearest the pins went to Joe Cummings, Brian Bourke, Blake Bender, Justin Nelson and Chris Neville.
Other pairings to play well and figure in the Ball competition were Andrew Burton and Travis Cameron, Jeff Geddes and Daniel Buckens, Pat Wall and Rod Clarke, Steve Hall and Robert Millar and Steve and Tom Jennings. Balls cut out on 42 points on a countback.
Friday nine hole competition: Winner was Brian Giblett 29 points. Runner-up went to Dave Thompson 27 points. Balls cut out on 26 points on a countback.
