Bowenfels man David John Hunt, 47, was pulled over on January 6 while driving at Heffernan Place, Lithgow.
According to police document tendered to the court, when he was pulled over the driver said, "You got me, back to the police station?"
In Lithgow Local Court on May 23, Hunt was disqualified from driving for 12 months, ordered to serve out an intensive correction order in the community and to complete 75 hours of community service.

A Roselands man faced Lithgow Local Court on May 30 charged with towing an unsecured load.
When he was pulled over at Capertee on January 26, officers found Jaafari Al Masri Khalid, 47, was towing a car trailer on which a 1200kg vehicle was held on with two ratchet straps rated to 300kg each.
He was fined $448.
