Lithgow's Commonwealth Bank branch donated $500 to Lithgow PCYC on Wednesday, May 29 as part of a nationwide community donation program.

The program allows each branch to donate a sum of $500 to causes important to their local community.
Lithgow PCYC club manager Dayne Walker said the money would go towards a concreted multi-purpose space.
"We can use the space as a basketball half court for youth night and our other programs," he said.

He said the donation was much appreciated and would continue to support the PCYC facility in Lithgow.
"It helps us in providing more space for activities and help us keep children active in life which is our mission," he said.
Commonwealth Bank Lithgow branch manager Glen Stewart said the branch was very excited to have the opportunity to support Lithgow PCYC.
"The PCYC are a great contributor to our community, in particular the PCYC youth programs, so it's great to be able to give back and support this work," he said.
