La Salle's superstar tennis squad took to the court on Thursday, May 2 and made excellent results at the Diocesan schools tennis championships in Orange.

The squad consisted of Emerson Banning, Lucy Green, Halley Banning and Sophie Lane.
They competed against schools from Bathurst, Mudgee, Orange, Dubbo and Forbes.
The squad continued their excellent form in the competition with outstanding results against St Johns College Dubbo and Mackillop College Bathurst.
Match results came from a combination of singles and doubles sets.
- Match 1 verse Dubbo: LSA (5) Dubbo (1)
- Finals match verse Bathurst: LSA (5) Bathurst (1)
Emerson said having Lucy and herself play competitively outside of school, they were able to bring plenty to the table.
"At first we went out there just to have fun but we headed into our second match with a strategy and shared our experiences," she said.
She said she was surprised to come away with a win having an inexperienced squad.

Her sister Halle said it was a chance for the girls to get to know each other better.
"It was a lot of fun and we got to spend the day together," she said.
Lucy Green said she was thankful that school had given her another opportunity in tennis.
"Having the opportunity to place tennis with school gives us a chance for more match practice," she said.
The girls are now set to take on schools from around the state when they play at the NSWCCC Championships in Bathurst on Monday, June 3.
