The sun was shining bright on Rydal as they held their forth annual Biggest Morning Tea on Wednesday, May 15 at Greg Featherstone Park.
With more than 30 people in attendance, residents enjoyed home made sweet and savoury foods, while drinking multiple cups of tea and coffee.
Organiser Lorraine Stack said she was happy with the warm weather and good people who attended.
"I lost my husband to cancer over 18 months ago, so that's the reason we put this on every year, because everyone knows of someone affected," she said.
As well as donations straight to the the Cancer Council, Ms Stack held a raffle and lucky door prize with proceeds made from that going straight to the Cancer Council as well.
Residents travelled from Lithgow, Cullen Bullen, Portland and Wallerawang for the event.
