The day was about encouraging participation in sport with equal opportunities for people with disabilities to socialise and have fun.
Ean Griffith, Andrew White, Chris Drummond and Donna Shoard had a great time joining in the activities.
Bears president Ben Spittles said the day went well but unfortunately the cold weather set in so only a handful of people participated.
"But our Bears girls took it in their stride to play a game with them just after finishing their own game," he said.
The community participants had a chance to play a game with the Bears league tag girls before they got to run out onto the main field with the Bears men's team.
A few players managed to score some tries and have a kick off the tee for a goal.
Spittles said he was happy with how the event ran.
"It put smiles on their faces and that was our aim," he said.
Spittles said the club received good feedback from the participants and their carers, who said they enjoyed themselves.
"The only thing that I would do (differently) is give people a lot more notice and maybe do it in the off season when the weather is warmer," he said.

Spittles said it was unfortunate about the numbers especially when LINC's Sharon Holt offered transport for the day.
"But it was great to see the smiles on the participants faces on the day," he said.
The participants were given rugby league footballs to take home, Bears Rugby League t-shirts, water bottles and a medal for their participation.
The Bears club hopes that this will be a regular event and welcomed LINC and the Lithgow community to join the Bears at future home games.
The Bears club wanted to thank all the sponsors who gave merchandise to this event as it was greatly appreciated.
