There was a spectacular projection and laser show run by Laservision, which recounted some of Lithgow's history on the Blast Furnace walls and a daredevil showing from the Fire Sisters throughout the evening.
With many gourmet food trucks, market stalls and scenery on offer Lithgow City Council mayor Cr Ray Thompson said it was an event that enthralled Lithgow.
"Lithgow is thriving with Ironfest last month, the Moyne Farm open day last weekend and the Fire and Ice ball out at Portland Friday night, it's all happening," he said.
He said he was impressed with the turnout of crowds at LithGlow despite the cold.

"The crowds started to fill up from the get go and I think, because we've had a fair warning about the weather, people have dressed accordingly," he said.
Cr Thompson said it was also an opportunity to see the Blast Furnace and Lake Pillans in a different way.
"It's a lovely walk around seeing it all lit up and there's lots of people taking it in which is great," he said.
He congratulated those involved in organising the event.
Councillor Darryl Goodwin also attended the night from start to finish.
"I was there for the few hours and there was not a bad word said, everyone was happy despite the freezing cold.
"The food, markets and light shows were fantastic," he said.
He also said the lit up walk around Lake Pillans was a hit.
"Overall it was a great night, there were stacks of people and although it was cold it suited the ambiance of the event warming up with delicious food and hot coffee," he said.
