A 26-year-old man will face two assault charges, one for occasioning actual bodily harm, after a home invasion in Morts Estate in the early hours of May 1.
Two men have been questioned in relation to the Morts Estate incident, in which it was alleged two men forced their way into a Morts Estate property at about 2am and assaulted a man. A woman and baby were present during the assault.
Investigations are continuing and more charges may be laid.
The 26-year-old will face two assault charges, as well as a break and enter charge, in Lithgow Local Court on May 23.

Keys stolen
A latch gate was damaged and house keys stolen during an incident at Portland.
Police were told house keys were stolen after the owner left them in the front door of the home.
No other property was reported to be stolen.
A power drill was also reported stolen from a Wattle Flat premises sometime between April 28 and 30.
Newnes safety
Chifley Police District has publicly thanked all the visitors to the Newnes State Forest over the April school holidays.
A police presence was maintained at Newnes to help educate motorcycle riders on the laws relating to registration and licensing of trail bikes.
"Visitors were also reminded that quad bikes cannot be registered for recreational use and as such, can only be ridden on private property," Chifley Police stated.
