It was a huge weekend of golf at the Lithgow Golf Club with the main event being the Easter Tournament and it was young Tallon Egan and Bill Oldfield that took home the Easter goodies.

Tallon is a top prospect and has all the attributes to become one of the club's top line golfers. He put it all together on the weekend to record a 64 nett and take out the handicap title. No doubt he will shave some shots off his handicap.
Bill Oldfield bounced back to form to shoot a one under par 71 and take out the best scratch score.

In the grade events, scoring was again good. Results in handicap winner, runner-up and scratch winner was as follows.
A grade: Blake Bender 68 nett, Damien Marjoram 69 and Steve Hall 73 ocb.
B grade: Don Farnsworth 66 nett, Geoff Wheeler 67 and Jeff Geddes 82.
C grade: Dave May 71 ocb, Ben Futcher 71 and John Griffiths 94.
Nearest the pins went to Harry Bender, Geoff Wheeler, Don Lovett, Kobe Hunter and Peter Thompson.
The Ball competition cut out on 73 ocb.
Good Friday ambrose:
There was a good roll up for the three person ambrose with the winning trio being Michael Casey and Brian Giblett and his son Greg on 56 and a half with the runners up being Tony and Ben Oldfield and Bob Hawes one shot back.
Monday ambrose:
It was another good day for the Oldfields when the club staged a two person ambrose.
Tony Oldfield and Ryan Dean took out the main prize from Bill Oldfield and Dave Duroux.
Balls cut out on 65 nett and the nearest the pins went to Ian Downey and Graeme Dean.
The event on Saturday, April 27 will be the April monthly medals and is sponsored by the "10 o'clockers".
