Later in the year there was a screening of a documentary about Professor Fred Hollows as a fund-raiser and, in conjunction with the Lithgow Garden Club, was able to send $500 to the Fred Hollows Foundation.
Fundraising for this year will include another morning tea for the Cancer Council at the cinema, 16 Main Street, on Friday, May 3 from 10am to 12pm. It is hoped to exceed last year's effort.
