This Saturday, April 13, Portland District's Motorsport Club will be holding its second last race meeting of the 2018-2019 season.
Unfortunately last months race meeting was cancelled due to the heavy rain, the NSW Quarter Midget Title along with many other divisions of racing are now planned for this weekends meeting.
The newly laid surface proudly donated by local business Walker Quarries is still to be driven on in anger by the many exciting divisions nominated to run. This should make the Burson Auto Spares Cullen Bullen track see some fierce and fast racing.
The Parramatta Fender benders are set to return to Cullen putting on a smashing and bashing show for the spectators. Always an actioned packed field of cars set to race hard and compete in a no holds barred race to the finish with bone crunching action as they slam into each other to take the chequered flag
Endless Belt NSW Quarter Midgets will be competing in their NSW Title as planned previously; with some tight competition resulting is some exciting racing to be had.
Excitement will be non-stop with the extremely talented junior sedan drivers showing off their ever improving driving skill. Drivers from as young as 10 years of age to 15 will have the pedal to the metal looking for that chequered flag.
With the combined four cylinders and limited sedans divisions mixing front and rear wheel drive cars together, they are sure to turn up the heat with some very experienced drivers set to lay down some quick laps on the challenging dirt track.
The return of the Street Stock Divison will see some aggressive head to head racing with the super fast and experienced Andrew Blackley and Mitch Duggan turning up the volume for some action-packed racing.
Those little things with big wings are also back! The mighty Micro Sprints with their 250 to 450cc engines are set to fly around the new track surface. Australia's #1 Ernie Havas will be one to watch.
The ever popular Vintage Sprint cars make there return to put on a show for the crowd. The experienced drivers of these high horsepower machines love to put on a show for the spectators, and while technically are only driving as a spirted demonstration the drivers can't help themselves and mash that pedal to the floor to let those big V8's roar.
The super quick 1000cc road bike powered Modlites will hit the track running, and will impress with their high revving awesome sound and blistering lap times. Looking like a small Dirt Modifieds or AMCA's they are a fantastic division to watch tear up the track.
Rounding out the completion classes are the speedway Karts. The standard 100cc class is always exciting to watch, followed by the 125cc and modified classes the Karts are set to scream on the newly laid surface at Cullen.
So get your backsides track side, bring the family for a fantastic evening of racing with gates open at 10am and racing set to start at 2pm for six hours of racing with feature races under lights.
